Having a Mission Statement was not new to the Church but the last Pastor sought to revamp it as one of his first priorities. The Church family worked on this for 9 months. It reads ....

'A family of Christians living to serve God and the community - growing and encouraging a joyful Christian faith'.

Like any 'Mission Statement' it seeks to encapsulate the chief focus of the Church. This must be to serve God first and we believe to respond to His call to serve the people of Oxmoor and the surrounding areas.


We want the Church to grow not only numerically but in depth with people growing in their relationship with God and His word. Also one of our chief aims as expressed in the Statement is to show the Christian Faith is 'joyful'. We want our worship and our lives to be full of joy. For too long the world has seen the Christian Church in a different light.
